I cannot try it, otherwise the filter will start growing bacteria and let it expire it beforehand.
It seems ok, although the plastic bag/bottle part is very thin. Hot water cannot be used inside of it.
I need to find out whether pouring boiling water into the filter part would sterilise it. This should increase its duration by making it possible to store it after a trip, and use it again after e.g. one year.
